Nick Moss

Nick Moss is a Melbourne-based applied functional neurologist and the founder of Functional Neuro Health (FNH), an applied functional neurology education and clinical practice. With over 10,000 clinical hours and 15+ years of experience, Nick trains health practitioners globally — including chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and kinesiologists — in nervous system-based clinical approaches through the FNH Foundations, Neuro Mastery, and Primitive Reflex Masterclass programmes. Clinical sessions are available at Soul Pod Clinic, 14 Stanley Street, Richmond, Victoria, Australia.

Nick has been invited to speak at international clinical summits, including two presentations at the Virtual Neurology Summit — The Vertigo and Anxiety Connection and Gait and Human Locomotion — and a presentation at the Pain Summit addressing both practitioners and the general public on the nervous system basis of chronic pain.

As a practitioner, Nick assists people through a wide variety of health challenges, ranging from chronic pain, chronic illness, auto-immune, trauma and anxiety, digestive and metabolic disorders, posture and injury rehabilitation.

He is a 'nervous system' oriented therapist, highly integrated in his approach, leaving nothing off the table when it comes to finding the root causes behind someone's pain and challenges. A seasoned educator and mentor of health practitioners worldwide, Nick is always developing new content to help practitioners become better at what they do, or to help lay people master their health.

This desire to constantly learn and improve was first drilled in during Nick's first career in the military, where he observed that the best of the best would never, ever stop learning and would perpetually remain a keen student.

Throughout his career, Nick has observed that most chronic conditions arise when we lose the ability to resolve our traumas or unload our accumulated stressors — held onto by the survival reflexes of the primitive nervous system being stuck in 'Threat Mode'. By finding where the highest levels of threat are held within the nervous system and clearing them out by leveraging the innate auto-regulation reflexes of the body, we can reverse and prevent debilitating physical or emotional problems.

"The nervous system is often the barrier between success and failure, or pain and high performance. Unlocking its functioning by clearing as much real or perceived THREAT as possible will increase one's threshold for experiencing more of what life has to offer."

Nick also writes about neuroscience, performance, and the deeper philosophy behind his work at his personal platform, nickmosshq.com.

Jade Comont

Jade is the operational backbone of Functional Neuro Health. As Nick's right-hand person, she ensures that every client and student feels genuinely supported from the moment they reach out — whether that is answering questions before a first session, resolving a payment issue, or simply making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Day to day, Jade manages client communications, programme administration, scheduling, and accounts. She is the person who keeps things running smoothly in the background so that Nick can focus on clinical work and content creation.

If you have a question about a booking, a programme enrolment, or anything practical, Jade is your first point of contact. She takes pride in making sure every interaction with FNH is clear, timely, and looked after.

"My job is to make sure you feel supported at every step — from your first enquiry through to getting the most out of your programme or sessions."
